Who am I? My name is Grea (rhymes with Thea). Born and bred in Sydney, Australia. Unlike many on the web these days, I'm not after your $$ so you can at least trust my ethics, if not my judgement. My personal site, RIJI DIJ, is a dump for my digital art, writings etc. Its About Me page dishes a bit more dirt than I have given away here. What's on this site? Mostly my cartoons, plus:
Why? Most professional cartoonists on the web charge for their "work". So why am I offering images that are (sometimes) used in professional contexts for free? Is there a catch? Nope. I simply make cartoons for fun and I would like to see as many people as possible enjoying them. That's the "official" line. Unofficially, since I'm a hopeless networker I doubt that I'll get the breaks you need to be a professional fool ... being in "the right place at the right time" doesn't happen when you live behind a keyboard. So I may as well give them away. Still, if you use any of the cartoons in a publication on on a website, it would be nice to get an email. Of course, if you are a big editor and you're thinking "I've just gotta have this mad cow on my staff" all I can say is ... PLEASE RESCUE ME FROM THIS 9 TO 5 CORPORATE PURGATORY! (Ah, that feels better). Rudeness alert! Apparently I'm supposed to warn you that some images could be considered obscene by some delicate little flowers. This means that sex or nudity is involved. Print quality: If you want print-quality TIF versions of any cartoon here, all you have to do is ask nicely. Most of the toons are fairly complete as vector images with minimal post-work, so I can easily resize them to your preferred size. Requests: Yes, like a hoary old club act, I do requests. If you want a cartoon done on a certain topic or a certain angle, by all means drop me a line. I don't mess around; my responses are usually fast. |

Why am I plugging this product? Simple. I love it so much I would like to have its babies. I am not just saying this for a commission (although that would be nice :). No, it's more that Xara Xtreme is a great product and, unlike other programs of its style, is great value for money.
