Hi!

You have arrived at my "About" page. As you may have gathered this site is basically a selection of my creative doodlings. These days it's only sporadically updated.

I have a regular job but I'd rather be a cartoonist or musician. At this stage it looks as though I'll have to retire before I have the chance to do interesting things full-time. 

I was heavily into music for a long time but the 80s scene became a chore and I eased off on the gigs for about 10 years before quitting altogether in 1998. A phone call from a friend got me back into playing in bands in late 2006. During the break I moved into web design and digital art.

Cartoons are my probably first love. I started dabbling (horribly) in them at school and continued to draw them (a bit less horribly), on and off, up to 2001. In 2001 I first went online and created my first website—one of those laughable Homestead sites—to showcase my cartoons because I knew no publisher would print them. Ah, bless the web.

In June 2006, I changed the licensing arrangement for my cartoons - the licence can be read at Creative Commons. 

This means that at this stage you can use  cartoons that have been signed by me with my name and website address for any purpose you like (that's not abhorrent to me) as long as you don't alter them in any way. If you do use them, I'd appreciate an email with links to the page where my work is used. If my images are used in hardcopy, I require a copy of the publication as "payment".
